Blood Orange Aperol Gin Fizz
There’s something about a sparkling cocktail that instantly makes any occasion feel a little more festive. This Blood Orange Aperol Gin Fizz is bright, citrusy, bubbly, and incredibly easy to make, making it a perfect addition to summer gatherings, brunches, happy hour, or a quiet evening on the patio.
The combination of botanical gin, bittersweet Aperol, and fresh lemon juice creates a beautifully balanced base, while a touch of simple syrup rounds everything out. A pinch of salt may seem like a small addition, but it helps bring all those bright citrus flavors together. The finishing touch is blood orange sparkling water, which adds effervescence and a gorgeous hint of blood orange flavor without making the cocktail overly sweet.
We love this drink because it feels special without requiring a long list of ingredients or complicated bartending techniques. Just shake, pour over ice, top with sparkling water, and stir. Add a slice of lemon or blood orange for an easy finishing touch.
If you’re looking for an easy summer gin cocktail, a refreshing Aperol cocktail, or a colorful drink to serve at your next gathering, this Blood Orange Aperol Gin Fizz is one to keep in your recipe rotation.
