Here’s what we enjoyed:

Lemon Poppyseed Scone

Energy Cookie
The Energy Cookie is a nutritious, gluten-free snack packed with wholesome ingredients. Made with dates for natural sweetness, gluten-free rolled oats for fiber, and tahini for healthy fats, they provide sustained energy. Pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries add crunch and antioxidants, while chia seeds and flaxseed meal boost omega-3s and fiber. A hint of vanilla, cinnamon, and salt enhances flavor, and baking soda and powder ensure a soft texture. Perfect for on-the-go fuel, these cookies are a delicious blend of taste and nutrition, ideal for satisfying cravings while supporting a healthy lifestyle.

Lentil Vegetable Soup
Electric Beets lentil vegetable soup—is so good. It’s packed with hearty stuff like lentils, brown rice, zucchini, cauliflower, mushrooms, and carrots, all simmered in this super flavorful veggie broth. The broth itself has a nice umami kick from tamari, and it’s seasoned with garlic, dill, parsley, paprika, and black pepper—so it’s not just bland health food, it’s actually really satisfying. I love how the texture is balanced too: soft lentils, tender veggies, and a little chew from the rice. It tastes like something homemade, but somehow better. Totally comforting, especially on a cold day, but honestly good year-round. And it’s vegan, of course, in that very Brooklyn, no-junk kind of way. I usually grab a small for around $7 and it fills me up just right. Definitely one of my go-tos when I want something warm and nourishing.

Kale Caesar Wrap
The Kale Caesar Wrap at Electric Beets is hands-down one of the most satisfying plant-based wraps I’ve had in a while. It’s loaded with chopped kale, chickpeas, and strips of tofu, all tossed in this rich, creamy vegan Caesar-style dressing made with lemon, Dijon, tamari, walnuts, almonds, nutritional yeast, garlic, and balsamic. It somehow hits all the traditional Caesar notes—tangy, savory, garlicky—but with a nutty depth that’s so good. The pickled red onions, which get their pink hue from beet juice, add just the right pop of acidity and sweetness, while nori gives it a subtle umami, almost anchovy-like flavor. The wrap is hearty, full of texture, and leaves you feeling great—satisfied but not heavy. It’s the kind of lunch that tastes indulgent but is actually really nourishing. If you’re into bold flavors and creative vegan food, this one totally delivers. I’d eat it again in a heartbeat.
Electric Beets is one of those rare gems that makes casual vegan food feel exciting, comforting, and genuinely satisfying. Whether you’re grabbing a nourishing soup on a chilly afternoon, biting into a bold and flavor-packed wrap, or sipping something refreshing and house-made, everything here feels thoughtfully prepared and full of intention. The menu leans wholesome without being preachy—packed with real ingredients, bold seasonings, and creative combinations that don’t sacrifice flavor for health. It's a great go-to if you’re plant-based or just looking to eat more veggies without feeling like you're missing out. The space is low-key and welcoming, perfect for a quick solo lunch or a laid-back catch-up with a friend. In a city full of vegan spots trying to be the next big thing, Electric Beets stands out by simply being consistently good. It’s a neighborhood favorite for a reason—and absolutely worth seeking out when you’re in Brooklyn.
