Truth & Tonic Wellness Cafe
We started our Sunday morning in Las Vegas with brunch at Truth & Tonic, the plant-based restaurant tucked inside the Venetian Resort, where the menu is filled with fresh juices, smoothies, and wholesome dishes designed to fuel your day.
Before ordering our meal, we couldn't resist exploring the extensive beverage menu. Our first choice was The Green Beast, a vibrant smoothie blended with spinach, baby kale, mango, coconut milk, apple juice, and vanilla plant protein. It was creamy, naturally sweet, and packed with fresh tropical flavor while the leafy greens added an earthy balance. The plant protein made it surprisingly filling, making it an ideal way to kick off a leisurely brunch.
To complement the smoothie, we selected The Inflammation Fighter from the functional juices menu. This refreshing blend of cherry juice, ginger, pineapple, apple, orange, turmeric, and black pepper delivered bright citrus notes with a gentle warmth from the ginger and turmeric. It tasted both refreshing and revitalizing, offering a flavorful combination that felt as indulgent as it was nourishing.
Beginning our Sunday brunch with these thoughtfully crafted beverages set the perfect tone for a relaxed morning, proving that Las Vegas offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy wellness alongside world-class dining.
For our main course, we couldn't resist the Breakfast Burrito, a hearty plant-based dish that was every bit as satisfying as a traditional brunch favorite. Wrapped in a warm wheat flour tortilla, it was filled with flavorful soyrizo, fluffy JUST Egg, black beans, breakfast potatoes, creamy avocado, melted cheddar-style vegan cheese, fresh pico de gallo, and smoky chipotle aioli. Every bite delivered the perfect balance of savory, creamy, and mildly spicy flavors. Served alongside a crisp house salad, the burrito was both comforting and filling without feeling overly heavy. It's an excellent choice for anyone craving a satisfying vegan breakfast in Las Vegas.
The Avocado Chipotle Salad was a fresh and colorful addition to our brunch, offering a satisfying combination of crisp vegetables and bold Southwestern flavors. A generous bed of romaine was topped with creamy avocado, black beans, sweet corn, red onion, pico de gallo, cabbage slaw, vegan queso fresco, and crunchy tortilla strips for the perfect contrast in texture. The smoky chipotle dressing tied everything together with just the right amount of spice, complementing the fresh ingredients without overpowering them.
