Nestled in the heart of New York City's vibrant Soho district lies a culinary haven where Parisian charm meets Manhattan sophistication. Welcome to Ladurée Soho, an enchanting café that beckons you into a world of timeless elegance and exquisite indulgence. As you step through the doors of Ladurée Soho, you are transported to a realm where every moment is infused with the romance and refinement of French culture. The air is alive with the scent of freshly baked pastries and the soft melody of laughter dances amidst the tinkling of delicate china. With its iconic pastel hues and ornate decor, Ladurée Soho is more than just a café; it is a sanctuary where patrons can escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in a truly decadent experience. Whether you're seeking a leisurely brunch with friends, a romantic afternoon tea for two, or simply a moment of tranquility with a cup of the finest coffee, Ladurée Soho invites you to savor every delightful moment.

On our recent weekend in the city we had some time to fill between shopping and before a late brunch in Soho so we decided to stop into Ladurée Soho for some mid-morning refreshments. As it was Mother’s Day, the outdoor garden was fully booked so—without reservations—we settled on having desserts and drinks in the patisserie lounge.

We toasted with Ladurée’s Kir Royale. There was just a whisper of Crème de Cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) allowing the champagne to be the star of the drink, served in a pretty flute glass and topped with festive rose petals. We enjoyed the spring special, Rose Raspberry gâteau Saint-Honoré. It was a delicious puff pastry filled with rose raspberry cream and topped with fresh berries. It was a pleasant way to spend some time before heading out with a half dozen macarons and palmier to enjoy later.
