It’s casual and fun, but the food and drink offerings are seriously well-crafted.

Vegan in the Hamptons: K Pasa Cocktails & Starters

We kicked things off the way one should at K Pasa: with cocktails. This spot has built a reputation for its inventive drinks, and it did not disappoint. The Gin Rita, made with Condesa Prickly Pear Gin, lemon, and agave, was both refreshing and subtly floral—a creative take on a margarita that felt perfectly suited for a sunny afternoon. We also ordered a Frozen Passionfruit Margarita, which hit all the right tropical notes: tart, icy, and not too sweet. Sipping it while seated on their patio made it easy to slip into vacation mode, even if just for the evening.

Alongside our cocktails, we shared a classic starter: chips, salsa, and guacamole. The chips were fresh, perfectly salted, and clearly made in-house, which makes a big difference. The salsa had a great balance of heat and brightness, and the guacamole was creamy, zesty, and full of lime and cilantro—simple but spot-on. It’s always a good sign when something so familiar still manages to stand out.

What’s great about K Pasa is that even if you’re just popping in for drinks and snacks, you’re going to leave satisfied. With views of the harbor and a soundtrack of upbeat music and conversation, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger. The drinks and starters set a vibrant, flavorful tone for the rest of our meal—and truly made it feel like a celebration of summer.

Vegan in the Hamptons: K Pasa Mains: Tacos & Fajitas

For our main dishes, we dove into a taco set and shared fajitas—both rich in plant-based flavor. The Impossible Taco, made with Impossible chorizo, pickled red onions, and radishes, had a satisfying smoky heat and that familiar chorizo spice profile. It was well-balanced with crunch and acidity from the toppings, making each bite dynamic and crave-worthy.

The Mushroom Taco was a standout. Loaded with sautéed shiitakes and topped with cashew crema and garlic breadcrumbs, it offered a savory depth and texture that felt indulgent yet fresh. The cashew crema added a creamy finish without overpowering the umami of the mushrooms.

We also shared the Fajitas with Impossible Chorizo, which came sizzling hot and beautifully plated with grilled peppers, onions, warm tortillas, and a generous side of rice and beans. It’s the kind of interactive, build-your-own experience that’s perfect for sharing. The Impossible chorizo worked well with the fajita flavors—spicy, hearty, and satisfying.

K Pasa’s vegan mains are a testament to their creativity in the kitchen. Each dish was thoughtfully composed and boldly seasoned, showing that plant-based dining here isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of the fun.
